At a reception held at the premises of the Stëmm vun der Strooss association in Esch-sur-Alzette, the non-profit organisation was awarded a cheque for €2,500 by the Association des Maîtres en Management de l'Innovation (AMMI).
The money was raised from sales of the book 'Esch-Uelzecht, aus der Vergaangenheet an Zukunft', edited by Robert Kuhn and Alfred Kemp, and will be used to buy winter clothes for individuals supported by the Stëmm vun der Strooss association.
AMMI is due to present another cheque to a different Esch association, with their last cheque meaning they have now donated €30,000 from book proceeds so far to various Esch organisations. Claude Consdorf, Deputy Manager, thanked the AMMI association for the gesture, with President Robert Kuhn thanking, on behalf of the authors, the longstanding support of the Esch town council, as well as sponsors and helpers.
