Representatives of the social initiative ProActif today reached a first collective agreement with the LCGB trade union.

The agreement will enter into force on 1 January 2016 and will remain valid until 31 December 2017. Under the new agreement, specific careers and prospects will be introduced for structural personnel whilst safeguarding the benefits previously received by employees.

The collective agreement now regulates the organisation of working hours, leave and flexitime, with employment maintenance also featuring as an important element in the negotiations. A joint committee will also be introduced to accompany the introduction of this convention and the preparation of negotiations for the renewal at the end of 2017. It was also announced that an informational meeting for the ProActif staff association will be arranged in the near future.

ProActif is a non-profit organisation with the coaching, rehabilitation, initiation and support of jobseekers as its main mission. This is undertaken through the promotion of initiatives against employment and promoting jobseekers' integration into the labour market.
