
Utopolis Kirchberg will be hosting a screening of Pocahontas (1995) on Sunday 17 April 2016 at 16:30 in English, French and German.
The movie is being brought to the big screen as part of the "Disney Princess at the Movies" event series. 'The Little Mermaid' is scheduled to be shown in September followed by 'Frozen' in November.
Set in 1607 and based on a real person, Pocahontas tells the tale of the young daughter of a Native American chief who will one day take up her father’s role and lead their tribe. Seeking gold in the New World the Britton ship sets anchor near the tribe and with it comes the adventure-seeking John Smith as well as the fortune-thirsty Governor Ratcliffe who sees the land as his own. John Smith meets Pocahontas and the two join forces to try and stop the tribe and Governor Ratcliffe from going to war over the land.
Tickets are €12 and the movie’s duration is 81 min.
