On Thursday 7 May 2026, natur&ëmwelt Asbl reported that the 2026 edition of the 'E Laf fir d'Natur – Run for Nature' raised €10,000 in support of the nature conservation association’s projects.
Organised by natur&ëmwelt, the race on Sunday 3 May saw over 300 participants come together for an event focused on sharing an experience in nature rather than on competition.
The environmental conservation NGO said: “Whether taking part in the Kids Run, walking or running the 5 or 10 km routes, all participants enjoyed being active in nature and became more aware of the need to protect it.”
natur&ëmwelt extended their thanks to all the runners, volunteers and sponsors who made this event possible and noted that without their support such a successful event would not have been possible.
The ‘E Laf fir d’Natur – Run for Nature’ race will now continue in a digital format until the end of May and anyone interested can take part at their own convenience, whenever and wherever they like, with every kilometre run or walked contributing to the protection of nature in Luxembourg.
