Alexandra Oxacelay, Director of Stëmm vun der Strooss, receives a donation from members of the Bertrange Guides & Scouts;
On Tuesday 7 April 2026, Stëmm vun der Strooss, a Luxembourg-based non-profit organisation supporting people experiencing homelessness and vulnerable members of society, reported it had received a donation of €1,000 from the Bertrange Guides & Scouts.
According to the NGO, this amount comes from funds raised through the proceeds of the Bertrange Guides & Scouts' traditional Advent market.
The donation was presented to the organisation’s Director, Alexandra Oxacelay, during a quiz evening organised by the Guides and Scouts, which was held at the Bertrange Cultural Centre on Saturday 28 March 2026.
Alexandra Oxacelay warmly thanked all members of the Bertrange Guiden a Scouten for their commitment: “This donation is much more than financial support: it reflects a true spirit of solidarity and commitment. We sincerely thank all members for their dedication and generosity, which directly help support those most in need.”
Stëmm vun der Strooss welcomed the initiative, which they said highlights the importance of civic engagement and the support of local stakeholders in the fight against social exclusion.
