British Embassy Hosts Launch Event for 2025 Poppy Appeal

On Friday 24 October 2025, the British Embassy in Luxembourg hosted its traditional Poppy Appeal launch to thank local volunteers and hand over the collection boxes to them.

This year’s poppy sellers, who are officially supporting the Royal British Legion's 2025 Poppy Appeal, were officially welcomed at the British Ambassador's Residence in Luxembourg-Ville and thanked for their invaluable support.

Those wishing to obtain a poppy and show their support to the members and families of the Armed Forces can find the donation boxes at the following locations:

- Anglican Church of Luxembourg- Konvikt Chapel (5 Avenue Marie-Thérèse, Luxembourg-Ville);

- St. Alphonse - International Parish of Luxembourg (32 Rue des Capucins, Luxembourg-Ville);

- St George's International School, Luxembourg (11 Rue des Peupliers, Luxembourg-Hamm);

- NATO Support and Procurement Agency (NSPA; 11 Rue de la Gare, Capellen);

- Home From Home (148 Route d'Arlon, Luxembourg-Strassen);

- Britannia Pub (69 Allé Pierre de Mansfield, Luxembourg-Clausen);

- British Ladies Club of Luxembourg, at their Halloween event on 25th October and other events that will be held during the next two weeks.

The 59 Club Luxembourg Section has organised donation boxes at:

-  Paperjam (10 Rue des Gaulois, Luxembourg-Bonnevoie);

-  Radio ARA (4 Place des Rotondes, Luxembourg-Bonnevoie);

-  Paname (50 Rue Sainte-Zithe, Luxembourg-Gare);

-  North Bay (23 Rue Nicolas Martha, Luxembourg-Bonnevoie);
