Stëmm vun der Strooss has reported that Hotel Heintz in Vianden recently donated old bedding and towels to the non-profit organisation, which promotes the social and professional integration of disadvantaged people in Luxembourg.

The hotel, a family business rooted in the medieval town of Vianden and built in 1895, recently updated its bedding and assistant director Carole Ewert came up with the idea of donating the old material to Stëmm vun der Strooss.

Pillows, duvets, towels and bath towels, all in perfect condition and in large quantities, were handed over to Alexandra Oxacelay, Director of Stëmm vun der Strooss, on Monday 11 November 2024. The items will be distributed free of charge in the various "Kleederstuffs", namely in Luxembourg-Hollerich (7 Rue de la Fonderie) and at Saxo (24 Rue de Hollerich), but also in Esch-sur-Alzette (32 Grand Rue) and in Ettelbruck (47 Rue Prince Henri).

"We don't receive such donations every day, it really is first-class material. We should not forget that Stëmm is now looking after more and more beneficiaries who have a home but live in precarious circumstances and have difficulty ending the month in dignity, this donation will be able to relieve many people," said Alexandra Oxacelay.
