Credit: Stëmm vun der Strooss

On Thursday 19 September 2024, Stëmm vun der Strooss, a Luxembourg non-profit organisation whose mission is to promote the social and professional integration of disadvantaged people, reported that it received a donation from its partners Hootsuite and Clean the World Europe UK.

Hootsuite, a social media performance engine, recently donated 1,800 hygiene kits by Clean the Word Europe UK to the non-profit. The kits were packed by 57 Hootsuite Luxembourg employees and presented to Stëmm vun der Strooss Director Alexandra Oxacelay.

The head of the non-profit presented its various services in Esch-sur-Alzette, Sanem, Ettelbruck, Schoenfels and Luxembourg-Hollerich, noting: "These hygiene kits are just in time, as we will be distributing them free of charge to our clients who come to one of our centres to shower."

As part of the company's annual company-wide volunteer initiative, Beyond the Nest, Hootsuite employees came together and made a contribution at the same time. Each Hootsuite employee placed a small message in the hygiene kits, personally addressing a person in need who uses the services of Stëmm vun der Strooss.
