On Wednesday 8 May 2024, the energy supplier Enovos announced it has presented a cheque for €6,251 to the Fondation Cancer.
Since 2009, Enovos has supported the Fondation Cancer in the fight against cancer via an annual partnership with the “Relay for Life”.
In 2024, Enovos noted it continued this partnership with two teams engaged face-to-face at the Coque to once again show its social commitment and its support for people affected by cancer and their loved ones.
Additional donations were collected by Enovos thanks to the bicycles provided free of charge by Andy Schleck Cycles, allowing participants to generate €1 per kilometre travelled.
In total, a cheque for €6,251 was presented by Romain Mary, head of the marketing department, to the Fondation Cancer, represented by its Director, Margot Heirendt.
The Fondation Cancer is an independent and neutral public utility establishment, which was created in 1994. Its missions are to prevent cancer through prevention, help patients and support research.
