Stëmm vun der Strooss, a local non-profit organisation which supports people experiencing homelessness and vulnerable members of society, has reported that POST Luxembourg recently donated two vehicles to the organisation.

Alexandra Oxacelay, Director of Stëmm vun der Strooss, looking to expand the association’s vehicle fleet, put in a request to POST Luxembourg. POST Luxembourg thus decided to give Stëmm vun der Strooss two vehicles in "very good condition", specifically a Volkswagen Caddy and a Honda Insight.

Claude Boden, Head of Logistics and Operational Mobility at POST Technologies, and Paul Rausch, Head of Press Relations at POST Luxembourg, handed over the keys to the two vehicles to Alexandra Oxacelay on Thursday 2 May 2024, during an official donation ceremony at the POST site in Cloche d'Or.

"Thanks to this important support, we can expand our fleet of vehicles, which is essential for our various departments whose activities are constantly growing," explained Alexandra Oxacelay.

With its nine different locations throughout Luxembourg, the non-profit organisation relies heavily on an efficient fleet of vehicles, be it to carry out repair work in the 25 flats managed by Immo-Stëmm, to distribute the Stëmm vun der Strooss magazine, to collect food from the various Auchan supermarkets and redistribute it free of charge to ten partner organisations or to bring all the various deliveries and goods from one location to another.
