Today, Friday 8 March 2024, the Rotary Club Schuman Luxembourg is distributing 5,000 roses from 07:00: this initiative, which has already generated more than €100,000 for the benefit of various causes dedicated to women, underlines the continuous commitment of the Rotary Club Schuman over twelve years.
This 13th edition of the Rotary Club's action exceeds the previous record for the distribution of roses (€2,900). They will be distributed to companies that have ordered them as well as to places such as Omega90, retirement homes, the train station and some public places, all made possible thanks to the involvement of Rotary volunteers and the support of DHL logistics.
This action has set a new record in 2024 with already more than €20,000 for the benefit of the “Stand Speak Rise Up” Association. This sum will help support the association's various initiatives in favour of women and will strengthen its crucial role in the community.
The closing of this operation will be held next week with an auction of the work of art generously created and offered by the renowned artist Jacques Schneider.
