FLEX Carsharing, a carsharing solution by CFL in Luxembourg, has announced that it raised €7,250 for the Fondation Cancer.

For three months, from 1 July to 30 September 2022, two red Mini Cooper SEs (Mini Electric) were put into service as "FLEX Charity Cars". All users of these two cars have donated their travel costs towards the Fondation Cancer.

"A total of 148 customers were able to make a positive contribution to society with the help of the donation," said Jürgen Berg, Director of CFL Mobility.

The two Minis have travelled more than 10,000 km in pure electric mode and have been very popular with our customers. Lucienne Thommes, Director of the Fondation Cancer added: "we are very happy about the commitment of the FLEX Carsharers. The contribution will now be targeted for family support for parents with cancer". The project supports patients in managing their daily lives during treatment

FLEX Carsharing manages a fleet of around 110 vehicles, including fifteen fully electric red Mini Coopers.
