On Monday 25 July 2022, POST Luxembourg presented a cheque for €25,000 to the non-profit organisation LUkraine asbl to support the latter's actions in favour of Ukrainian refugees in Luxembourg and its humanitarian efforts in Ukraine.

The official cheque presentation took place in the presence of Nicolas Zharov, President of LUkraine asbl, Inna Yaremenko, Vice-President of LUkraine asbl, Cliff Konsbruck, Director of POST Telecom and Deputy Managing Director of POST Luxembourg, and Isabelle Faber, Director of Human Resources, Public Relations and Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) at POST Luxembourg.

The sum is the result of all proceeds from the sale of a special issue of solidarity stamps in support of Ukrainian refugees. This special issue, launched in May 2022, is composed of two stamps with a postage value of €0.80 and €1.40 for sending a standard letter in Luxembourg and to international destinations – world zone 1 (of which Ukraine is a part), respectively. These solidarity stamps remain available until 31 August 2022, in the form of eight-stamp sheets, in all POST Spaces and post offices, as well as in the POST Philately online store (www.postphilately.lu) and at the stamp counter in Cloche d'Or (13 Rue Robert Stümper, L-2557). Future proceeds from the sale will be paid later to LUkraine asbl.

In addition to this stamp issue and in order to facilitate and support the reception of Ukrainian refugees in the Grand Duchy, POST Luxembourg has been offering mobile phone packages and free bank accounts and payment cards. POST Telecom continues to offer free calls and SMS between Luxembourg and Ukraine to its customers with a postpaid mobile plan until 30 September 2022. These two actions have been implemented in consultation with the National Reception Office (Office national de l'accueil - ONA). POST is also providing ONA with a number of premises and accommodation for refugees. Supported by the Amicale POST Luxembourg and in collaboration with the SAFE organisation, POST Technologies has also donated a 150kVa generator to the Medical Aid Committee in Zakarpattya, Uszhorod, in Ukraine.
