Primary Schoolchildren Donate €200 to Stëmm vun der Strooss

On Thursday 2 June 2022, a class of cycle three of the primary school in Bous has donated €200 to Stëmm vun der Strooss, a local non-profit organisation which supports homeless people and vulnerable members of society.

Following the donation made by the teachers, Sandy Mreches and Dalida Olinger, the Stëmm's communications officer, Bob Ritz, along with intern Avelino Robalo, met the schoolchildren for a presentation of the association.

The meeting was a great opportunity to make the pupils aware of the precarious situations that exist in the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg. To Mr Ritz's surprise the pupils were very engaged and well informed that he would've imagined, which he summarised as "a good feeling for the future".

The financial donation will enable Stëmm vun der Strooss to offer a free meal to the beneficiaries on a later day.
