Cactus Supermarkets have announced that the sale of Chouchous du Cœur solidarity chocolates produced in the Ateliers du Tricentenaire has raised €3,566.50 over the past year; as a result, a checque was presented to the Fondation du Grand-Duc et de la Grande-Duchess towards the "Stand Speak Rise Up!" initiative aimed at supporting victims of sexual violence in sensitive areas.

Les Chouchous du Cœur are an assortment of small 100% responsible chocolates, made from Fairtrade cocoa and produced in the Ateliers du Tricentenaire in Bissen. With a view to inclusion through work, sheltered workshops welcome and employ people with disabilities, who exclusively process Fairtrade-certified cocoa.

Cactus had pledged to donate €0.50 for each box of chocolates sold, towards the Grand Duke and Grand Duchess Foundation for the "Stand Speak Rise Up!" Initiative. As a result, thanks to the 7,133 products sold in total during the first year of sale, no less than €3,566.50 was raised for the Foundation.

The association "Stand Speak Rise Up", initiated by the Foundation of the Grand Duke and the Grand Duchess of Luxembourg, aims to denounce and prevent sexual violence used as a weapon of war, as well as to support victims in their reconstruction work. The association acts as a "voice" to make the victims heard, and is also interested in solutions of struggle, justice and reparation for the victims.

Cactus, the Ateliers du Tricentenaire and the Fondation du Grand-Duc et de la Grande-Duchesse have thanked all the customers who have given their support to these noble causes.
