To celebrate its 45th anniversary, SOS Villages d’Enfants Monde will be holding a "Duerffest" next Thursday 11 July from 10:00 to 17:00 in Place d'Armes in Luxembourg-Ville.

This event, which marks the launch of the festivities organised in 2019 for the association's 45th anniversary, will be an opportunity to renew its commitment to respect for children's rights worldwide in a fun way.

Place d'Armes will take on the colours of the Luxembourg NGO and will be adorned with SOS balloons. The atmosphere will be festive with a programme featuring awareness workshops, entertainment, face painting, a drawing contest, music, solidarity sales stands and snacks (in collaboration with Pizza Hut).

Miss Luxembourg 2019, Mélanie Heynsbroek and the artist-photographer Jacques Schneider, both committed to the cause of children, as well as the choir of the Ecole Sainte-Anne d'Ettelbruck will also be present from noon.

This event, organised in collaboration with the City of Luxembourg, benefits from the sponsorship of Imprimerie Centrale.
