On Wednesday, the site of the Maison Relais de Munsbach hosted some 400 children aged three and twelve for a day of discovery.

Every year, during the Easter school holidays, the Caritas Jeunes et Families a.s.b.l. offers children from its creches and "maisons de relais" (childminding service) a discovery day centred around a particular theme.

This year, emotions were put in the spotlight with the event "Gefillswelten". A multitude of workshops allowed children to discover all the emotions in a completely different environment. These workshops went even further: the aim was also to allow children to experience their emotions in a fun way and to become aware of their feelings.

Many young volunteers from Young Caritas helped supervise the event, which left the children, collaborators and volunteers with the feeling of having lived a day strong in emotions.

Caritas Jeunes et Familles currently manages eighteen crèches, day-care centres and "maison de relais" which welcome nearly 2,800 children. Emphasis is placed on encouraging the child's autonomy through all means. In addition to multilingualism, particular attention is paid to issues related to diversity and social inclusion.
