Young people from the “Youth House” in Dudelange have collected 700kg of clothing for Stemm vun der Strooss.
This is the third consecutive year that the youth centre has organised a clothing collection to be donated to people benefitting from the Stemm vun der Strooss social restaurant.
25 young people between the ages of 12 and 24 took part between 20 October and 17 November 2017. Since then, the donated clothing has been given to those in need on several occasions at the beginning of December.
There are also plans for a group of young people to have lunch at the social restaurant in Hollerich during the carnival holidays, where they will have the opportunity to interact with Stemm volunteers and beneficiaries of the restaurant.
Further donations to support disadvantaged people this winter can be transferred to the Stemm vun der Strooss account with BCEE: LU63 0019 2100 0888 3000. Donations are tax deductible.
