The 57th annual International Bazaar took place at LuxExpo in Luxembourg-Kirchberg on Saturday and Sunday, with HRH The Grand Duchess arriving for the opening on Saturday at 11:00, along with HRH The Hereditary Grand Duchess; they were met by Luxembourg's Prime Minister, Xavier Bettel, the President of the Chambre des Deputéd, Mars Di Bartholomeo, and the Mayor of Luxembourg city, Lydie Polfer.

Among the 75 stands representing nearly 65 nations, with Mongolia making its first appearance, 19 were offering tombolas; all were offering the very best of their national ware, with food and drink again being very popular.

The proceeds from the Bazaar this year will be donated to nearly 75 different charities nominated by the various stands. Most of the beneficiaries are active in Asia, Africa and Latin America, but European and Luxembourgish charities will also benefit. Last year's Bazaar raised a total of €580,000 for charity.
