The seventh Russian Charity Ball will take place on 13 January 2018 at the Cercle Cité, starting with an aperitif at 19:00.

Over the years, the annual Russian Charity ball has become an important event for the cultural and social life of the local and Russian communities in Luxembourg with the previous editions having raised a total of €280,000 for charity.

Following the aperitif at the start of the evening, the doors of Cercle Cité's Grand Hall will open for a gourmet dinner prepared by the ball’s partner, Kaempff-Kohler, with the support of the Chef de Cuisine from the Russian Embassy in Luxembourg, Sergey Khutorov.

As in previous years, the highlights of the evening will be the auction and raffle with lots of prizes to be won. This year’s theme is “Russian Ballet”, and as such, the famous Russian ballerina Ekaterina Maksimova will also be auctioned on this occasion.

Guests will also be treated to a show by the famous Russian singer Alexey Glyzin, as well as a performance by folk musicians "Russkaia Dusha" and a performance by ballet dancer Kirill Safin. This will be complemented by the young Luxembourg gymnasts of the Rythmo-Cats club who will open the ball with the "Dance of flakes" from the Tchaikovsky’s Nutcracker. Also present will be budding ballerinas from Elena Chorkina Dance School and the band Trio-Lux who will play music throughout the evening.

Director and producer Timur Bekmambetov, who is also founder of the Podsolnukh Charitable Foundation, will also be present at the Russian Charity Ball, which will end with a gift for each of the guests.
