Two Luxembourg residents have taken it upon themselves to support the Rohingyas currently facing persecution in Myanmar and have launched a fudraising initiative.
Help 4 Rohingyas is a fundraising initiative set up in Luxembourg to help the Rohingya minority affected by the violence in Myanmar. Many are fleeing to neighbouring Bangladesh but do not have the necessary resources to survive. This fundraising initiative is raising money for "Partners Relief and Development" which provides vital food, shelter and medicine to the Rohingya minority.
The two men behind this initiative, Philippe Schuler and Olivier Robert, have been attending many events and drumming in Luxembourg city's streets to raise money for this cause before they travel to Bangladesh themselves as part of their endeavours.
