On Thursday 21 May 2026, Vodafone Procure & Connect in Luxembourg announced the launch of its global Procurement Academy, developed in collaboration with State of Flux, a global procurement and supply chain consultancy.

The Procurement Academy aims to strengthen supplier relationship management and procurement capability across Vodafone Procure & Connect teams and procurement organisations internationally.

The Academy will focus on practical procurement skills including supplier relationship management, collaboration and performance improvement. It will support Vodafone Procure & Connect's global teams and will also be offered to Vodafone customers and partners internationally. The Academy will include practical learning modules and real-world application, with future courses also being developed for the telecommunications and technology sectors.

Vodafone Procure & Connect manages €21 billion in annual spend for Vodafone Group and a further €4 billion on behalf of customers. As supplier relationships become more complex and increasingly focused on co-innovation, strong procurement capability is increasingly important.

Richard Boyce, Head of Sales and Customer Success at Vodafone Procure & Connect, said: "The Academy is about building stronger, more consistent procurement across our teams. Better supplier management helps us improve performance, reduce risk and support innovation across our business."

According to Vodafone Procure & Connect, the Procurement Academy combines State of Flux's supplier relationship management expertise with practical training and real-world application.

Alan Day, CEO of State of Flux, added: "Vodafone Procure & Connect has a clear vision for the future of procurement. Together, we are creating a learning environment that reflects the realities of modern supply chains and global telecom partnerships."
