On Monday 12 January 2026, Munhowen announced that it had transferred the hotel, restaurant and café (Horeca) delivery activities of Boissons Heintz to the Belgian group Maziers, which will continue to operate these activities under the Boissons Heintz brand.
According to Munhowen, the transaction allows the company to fully pursue the merger of its own activities with the remaining activities of Boissons Heintz. These include delivery services for large-scale retail, offices, wholesalers and private customers, which were previously managed by Boissons Heintz and are now taken over by Munhowen.
The signing of the agreement with Maziers marks the end of the operational phase of nearly two years of proceedings before the European Commission. The Commission had approved the consolidation of Munhowen’s and Boissons Heintz’s activities on the condition that the HoReCa activities of Boissons Heintz be divested to an approved third party, in this case Maziers.
Following this transaction, Munhowen reaffirms its intention to continue strengthening the development of its activities in Luxembourg and the Greater Region.
