During 2015, the Tax Group of the British Chamber of Commerce (BCC) in Luxembourg had discussions with officials of the Ministry of Finance to support their work in defining the tax reform package which has since emerged in the form of draft law 7020.
In particular, the chamber's group carried out a survey of members’ opinions on the tax competitiveness of Luxembourg, in which they asked for their views on the importance to them and their business of various aspects of corporate, VAT and personal taxation. The survey also invited members’ views on specific measures.
Following publication of draft law 7020 and its submission to Parliament on 26 July 2016, the BCC Tax Group has made a comparative analysis of the survey results and the contents of the draft law.
