The British Chamber of Commerce is organising an Evening Business Forum on "Risks for directors of Luxembourg companies - what every director should know" on Wednesday 20 April 2016 at 17:30 at the premises of Allen & Overy (33 Avenue J.F Kennedy, Kirchberg).

The guest panellists include Graham Cook (Director, Talisman Insurance Broking), Peter Myners (Partner, Allen & Overy), Vincent Naveaux (Counsel, Allen & Overy) and Oliver Wheeler (Directors & Officers Manager, AXIS Specialty Europe SE).

The panel will illustrate the risks facing directors of Luxembourg companies, with relevant examples from actual court cases. The panel will also discuss:

•How to mitigate the risks of personal liability through the use of D&O insurance.

•Why a typical D&O insurance policy may not be available to cover certain risks.

•How a new type of policy that attaches to individual directors rather than corporates could be used to plug some of the gaps.

The evening will begin at 17:30 with registration. The presentations are scheduled to begin at 18:00. To close the evening drinks and canapes will be provided and, as always, the opportunity to meet and discuss with fellow Chamber Members and the panellists.

The cost of attending this event is: BCC Members: €20; Non-Members: €40, payable in cash at the door. To attend, register at www.bcc.lu.
