On Thursday 15 January 2026, Sparta Bertrange confirmed their status as the second-ranked team in the Women’s Enovos Basketball League with a victory in a rescheduled away game against Basket Esch.
Mike Feyder’s side secured a 61-56 win on the road. Esch made the stronger start, taking the opening quarter 17-10, but Sparta responded in the second period, largely thanks to Nicole Torresani, who scored ten points to give her team a narrow lead at the break. The visitors went on to build on their advantage, with Torresani finishing the game on 20 points. The top scorer, however, was her American teammate Adryana Michelle Quezada, who recorded a double-double with 21 points and ten rebounds. Following this result, Sparta Bertrange improved their record to seven wins and three losses, while Basket Esch now stand at four wins and six defeats.
The next Women’s Enovos Basketball League game day is scheduled for Saturday 17 January 2026, when three matches will be played.
