IMS Luxembourg and Charte de la Diversité Luxembourg announced that the fifth Diversity Awards ceremony took place on Thursday 28 September 2023.
Taking place every two years, this evening aims to highlight the Luxembourg’s best practices in favour of diversity.
Four organisations were awarded in the categories “Recruitment, Welcome and Integration”, “Career management”, “Well-being and working conditions” and “Communication and Values of the organisation”.
On 7 July 2023, the pre-jury, made up of seventeen independent experts, designated the nominees for each category. The final jury, made up of seven representatives from multiple stakeholders, selected the winners of the four categories on 18 September 2023.
According to the organisers, the trends noted during the pre-jury and jury debates showed:
• the organisations that applied proposed inspiring practices that were simple to implement and which would enable other organisations to replicate them;
• several practices were ideas that have been replicated with significant improvements (more impact on employees, less restricted scope);
• the named practices also include more comprehensive and more strategic projects, confirming an evolution towards greater maturity of companies on issues of diversity and inclusion.
All the initiatives submitted to the pre-jury and the jury are available to view by consulting the brochure and videos of the Diversity Awards Lëtzebuerg 2023 on the Diversity Charter website. Organisations are free to draw inspiration from these practices to replicate or adapt them in a long-term and continuous improvement approach, the organisers noted.
The ceremony was presented by Ann de Jonghe, Vice-President of the Committee for the Diversity Charter, and Corinne Cahen, Patron of the Lëtzebuerg Diversity Charter, Alderwoman of the City of Luxembourg.
