From Saturday 15 to Sunday 16 March 2025, the European Throwing Cup will take place in Nicosia, Cyprus, where Luxembourg will be represented by a single athlete: Stéphanie Krumlovsky.

This major event on the European athletics calendar will bring together top throwing specialists. Following a national championship, during which she improved her own Luxembourg record four times, Stéphanie Krumlovsky will represent the country in the senior shot put event. She will aim to further improve her personal best (NR 15.24m) and “gain valuable experience” against high-level competition, noted the Luxembourg Athletics Federation (Fédération Luxembourgeoise d’Athlétisme - FLA) in a press release.

29-year-old Krumlovsky is a seven-time National Indoor Champion. She has competed in the European Throwing Cup at the senior level three times. In Split, Croatia, in 2021, she recorded a throw of 13.74m, followed by 14.53m in Leiria, Portugal, in 2022, and 13.86m at the same venue in 2023.

Stéphanie Krumlovsky’s event is scheduled for Saturday 15 March 2025 at 15:05 and will be streamed live at this link: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=G7ny-ZFSkMI
