The Grand Ducal Police have reported that a driver was seriously injured following a road traffic accident in Schifflange which occurred in the early hours of Monday 27 April 2026.
According to the initial information, at approximately 00:42 on Monday 27 April the police were informed of a road traffic accident involving two cars in Schifflange.
According to the police, two vehicles were travelling at increased speed along Rue du Canal when a collision occurred between one of the two vehicles and an oncoming vehicle.
One driver was seriously injured and, after receiving initial treatment at the scene, was taken to hospital. The occupants of the oncoming vehicle were not injured.
The accident caused significant material damage and an accident report was drawn up.
