The Grand Ducal Police have reported that a worker sustained serious injuries in an accident in Lamadelaine, in southern Luxembourg, on Thursday 23 April 2026.
At around 14:15, police were notified of a workplace accident at a workshop on Route de Luxembourg. According to initial reports, an explosion followed by a deflagration occurred, resulting in severe burns to a worker. He was taken to hospital for treatment.
The Inspectorate of Labour and Mines (ITM) was informed and attended the scene.
A report was filed at the request of the Public Prosecutor's Office.
