On Tuesday 21 April 2026, the Grand Ducal Police reported a number of arrests following a number of thefts from vehicles across Luxembourg overnight.
According to the initial information, during the night of Monday 20 to Tuesday 21 April 2026, a man was reported attempting to gain access to a vehicle on Rue Laurent Ménager in Luxembourg-Pfaffenthal. A police patrol attended the scene and found three vehicles with their passenger-side windows smashed. The suspected offender was apprehended shortly afterwards. On the instructions of the Public Prosecutor’s Office, a report was filed.
Another theft was reported to the police the same night on Rue de Mondorf in Erpeldange, where according to the initial information, a suspect had gained access to the interior of a vehicle and was confronted by the vehicle owner’s partner. A police patrol attended the scene immediately. Stolen items were recovered from the suspect. On the instructions of the Public Prosecutor’s Office, a report was filed.
