On Monday 20 April 2026, the Grand Ducal Police reported that a person in Dudelange was taken to hospital having sustained a knife injury overnight.
According to the police, at around 02.40 on Monday 20 April they received a report of a person who had been injured with a knife on Rue Karl Marx in Dudelange.
Several police patrols immediately attended the scene and located the victim. After receiving initial treatment at the scene, the victim was taken to hospital.
According to the initial information the victim was attacked by two individuals. One of the perpetrators reportedly injured the victim on the thigh with a pocketknife.
As part of a search operation, one suspect was apprehended and a report was drawn up.
