The Grand Ducal Police have reported another e-scooter accident in Luxembourg.
At approximately 16:00 on Saturday 18 April 2026, police were alerted to an e-scooter accident on Rue de Bonnevoie in Luxembourg City. Upon arrival, officers found two men with minor injuries. According to initial findings, both men were riding the scooter when they lost control and fell.
The e-scooter was impounded on the orders of the Public Prosecutor's Office. Investigations revealed that its top speed significantly exceeded the legal limit. A report was filed.
The incident follows several other reported speeding offences and accidents involving e-scooters in recent weeks.
