The Grand Ducal Police have reported another e-scooter confiscation following a speeding incident, just one day after a similar case in Schifflange, where a rider fell and authorities found that the scooter exceeded the legal speed limit.
In the afternoon of Monday 13 April 2026, at around 15:40, the police received a report that a woman had fallen from her e-scooter on Op Zaemer in Bascharage. The victim was taken to a hospital for a check-up.
Checks revealed that the e-scooter’s maximum speed significantly exceeded the legally permitted limit. On the orders of the Public Prosecutor's Office, the e-scooter was confiscated and a report was filed.
