On Tuesday 14 April 2026, the Grand Ducal Police reported two recent incidents, which involved the arrest of a suspected drug dealer and a woman following a disturbance in a hospital.
During an identity check on the morning of Monday 13 April on Route de Thionville in Luxembourg-Bonnevoie, police officers found drugs on a man. After a body search the police seized additional drug pellets and cash. The public prosecutor’s office ordered his arrest, and officers brought him before an investigating judge later that afternoon.
In a separate incident, during the night of Tuesday 14 April at around 00:50, police received a report of a woman causing a disturbance in the emergency department of a hospital in Luxembourg-Kirchberg. Officers attended the scene and asked the woman several times to leave the premises. She did not cooperate with the officers. Due to her condition and the risk she posed to herself and others, officers placed her in custody following a medical examination.
