The Grand Ducal Police have reported three separate arrests made on Wednesday 8 April 2026, following incidents across Luxembourg involving burglary, suspected drug dealing and a domestic dispute.
In the morning, police received reports of a burglary at a premises in Luxembourg-Bonnevoie. According to initial information, two suspects gained entry by smashing a window and stole several items as well as cash. During a search operation, one of the suspects was apprehended. During police procedures, he remained uncooperative and injured three officers. On the orders of the public prosecutor’s office, he was arrested and brought before an investigating judge.
On Wednesday evening, police were alerted to a person in Rue de la Fonderie in Luxembourg-Gare district who had allegedly hidden something under a barrier. A police patrol attended the scene and secured several drug pellets at the reported location. The suspect was apprehended shortly afterwards. On the orders of the public prosecutor’s office, the suspected drug dealer was arrested and brought before an investigating judge on the morning of Thursday 9 April 2026.
Also in the evening, police were called to a domestic dispute in Soleuvre. A patrol attended the scene and encountered the two individuals involved. According to initial information, an altercation occurred during which a son became physically aggressive towards his father and issued death threats. The victim was taken to hospital for examination. On the orders of the public prosecutor’s office, the suspect was arrested and is due to be brought before an investigating judge later that same day.
