The Grand Ducal Police have reported that a suspected burglar was arrested during the night of Wednesday 18 to Thursday 19 February 2026 following a break-in in Ettelbruck.
According to the police, during the night a burglary at a single-family home in Rue Dr Klein in Ettelbruck was reported. Initial information indicated that a man had gained entry to the property but was surprised by the homeowner and fled the scene.
As part of an immediate search operation, the suspect was apprehended shortly afterwards. Further investigations indicated that the individual may be linked to another attempted burglary.
On the orders of the Public Prosecutor’s Office, the suspect was arrested and brought before an investigating judge.
