On Thursday 19 February 2026, the Grand Ducal Police issued an appeal for witnesses in relation to a hit-and-run accident that occurred earlier this month.
At approximately 18:00 on Friday 6 February 2026, a road accident occurred in Wiltz between the Salzbach junction and Schumannseck. According to initial information, a vehicle travelling in the opposite direction clipped the driver's side of another vehicle and continued driving without stopping to deal with the resulting damage.
The fleeing vehicle is described as being light-coloured.
The driver involved, as well as any witnesses with relevant information about the incident, is asked to contact the Ardennes police station via tel.: 244-891-000 or via email: police.ardennes@police.etat.lu.
