The Grand Ducal Police have reported that several burglaries and attempted break-ins occurred during the weekend of Saturday 14 to Sunday 15 February 2026.
The police noted that they had launched investigations in all cases and forensic teams had attended the scenes.
In one such case, on Saturday evening, offenders attempted to enter a house on Rue de la Gare in Belvaux through the terrace door. However, they were unsuccessful and fled the scene.
Meanwhile, earlier that afternoon, another incident occurred on Rue du Ruisseau in Limpach, where offenders entered a house through a window and stole jewellery.
