The Grand Ducal Police have reported that two burglars were arrested on Thursday 22 January 2026, following an attempted burglary in Bech-Kleinmacher.
According to the police, on Thursday morning an attempted burglary at a detached house in Rue des Caves in Bech-Kleinmacher was reported. The initial information stated that two suspects damaged a window in an attempt to gain entry to the property but were unsuccessful. They then got into a vehicle with an accomplice and fled in the direction of Wellenstein.
As part of an immediate search operation, the three suspects were intercepted. Further enquiries indicated that the suspects could be linked to a burglary at a detached house in La Corniche in Mondorf.
On the orders of the Public Prosecutor’s Office, they were arrested and brought before an investigating judge.
