The Grand Ducal Police have reported the arrest of a suspected drug dealer in Luxembourg-Gare.
During the night of Tuesday 20 to Wednesday 21 January 2026, a police patrol on Rue du Fort Neipperg in the capital's train station district attempted to stop a man suspected of drug dealing. The man fled toward the main train station but was apprehended shortly thereafter.
Officers observed the suspect making suspicious swallowing motions and discovered several small packets of drugs on him. He was subsequently subjected to a scanner examination, which came back positive.
On the orders of the public prosecutor, the suspected drug dealer was arrested and brought before an investigating judge on Wednesday morning.
