The Grand Ducal Police have reported a fatal traffic accident that occurred on the N15 on Thursday 15 January 2026.
According to initial information, at around 14:30, a collision involving two vehicles took place at a junction on the N15 between Büderscheid and Heiderscheid. Despite rescue measures being initiated immediately, a 77-year-old female driver succumbed to her injuries at the scene. The other driver involved sustained minor injuries.
The road was closed for the duration of the rescue and clearance operations.
The public prosecutor’s office instructed the police technical unit to investigate the circumstances of the accident.
