The Grand Ducal Police have reported that on Wednesday 14 January 2026, a driving ban was issued following the discovery of a driver asleep behind the wheel of a vehicle in Arsdorf.
According to the initial information, on Wednesday evening at approximately 19:30, a driver under the influence of alcohol was reported on Rue du Lac in Arsdorf after allegedly falling asleep at the wheel.
A police patrol located the driver shortly afterwards and noted clear signs of alcohol consumption. Officers administered a breath alcohol test which returned a positive result and a provisional driving ban was issued.
