The Grand Ducal Police have reported that a 49-year-old worker who was hospitalised after a workplace accident in Soleuvre succumbed to his injuries on Sunday 11 January 2026.
On Tuesday 6 January 2026, the Grand Ducal Police reported that a person was seriously injured in a workplace accident at a production facility on Rue Gadderscheier in Soleuvre. One of the employees had become trapped by their lower body in a machine and sustained life-threatening injuries.
After first aid was provided by the emergency services on site, the 49-year-old man was taken to hospital.
The police confirmed that investigations into the exact cause of the accident have been launched.
