The Grand Ducal Police have reported that on Tuesday 6 January 2026, a person was seriously injured in a workplace accident in Soleuvre.
According to the initial information, at around 12:25 on Tuesday 6 January the police were informed of a workplace accident at a production facility on Rue Gadderscheier in Soleuvre. One of the employees had become trapped by their lower body in a machine and sustained life-threatening injuries.
After first aid was provided by the emergency services on site, the 49-year-old man was taken to hospital. The police forensic team, as well as the Inspectorate of Labour and Mines (ITM), were present at the scene.
The police said that investigations into the exact cause of the accident have been launched.
