On Tuesday 16 December 2025, the Grand Ducal Police reported the arrest of a suspected drug dealer following the discovery of a large quantity of drugs in Hassel, southern Luxembourg.
According to the initial information, on the morning of Monday 15 December 2025, the police carried out a house search in Hassel as part of an investigation into a fraud scheme. During the search, a large quantity of cannabis and hashish, as well as cash, pepper spray and several mobile phones, were found and seized.
On the instructions of the public prosecutor’s office, the suspected drug dealer was arrested and brought before an investigating judge on the afternoon of Monday 15 December.
