One driver was also found not to have a high-visibility vest in his vehicle.

At approximately 17:00, the police conducted another traffic check at the junction of Haaptstrooss and Wämperweeg in Wilwerdang. This operation focused, among other things, on whether drivers respected the stop sign located there. Officers also monitored compliance with the traffic prohibition (“Circulation interdite”) on the field road between the CR336 and the N12. Five drivers were penalised for failing to stop at the sign and two received fines for missing or incomplete vehicle documentation. Nine drivers used the field road despite the prohibition and were fined accordingly.

Moreover, at around 18:00, further checks took place on Gruuss-Strooss and Beelerstrooss in Weiswampach. The focus of this operation was on vehicle documentation and speed compliance. Two fines were issued for irregularities in vehicle papers. One vehicle was found to have lighting defects and a driver was fined because visibility through the windscreen was inadequate. In another case, a passenger was not wearing a seat belt. Three drivers exceeded the speed limit and were fined accordingly.
