The Grand Ducal Police have reported that they arrested a man for possession of weapons and drugs on Tuesday 4 March 2025.
At around 18:45 on Tuesday, the police received reports of several men who were arguing, according to witnesses, in Rue Saint-Quirin in Luxembourg-Ville. A police patrol went to the scene and found the men in question there.
According to initial information, there was a verbal argument in which one of the participants pulled out a firearm. During a subsequent search of the suspect, the police confiscated a weapon and drugs.
The public prosecutor's office was informed and ordered a house search, during which additional drugs, among other things, were confiscated. The suspect was then arrested and brought before an investigating judge on the afternoon of Wednesday 5 March 2025.
