Scene of fatal accident in Remich;

The Grand Ducal Police have confirmed that an 85-year-old pedestrian was killed in a road traffic accident in Remich this morning, Wednesday 5 February 2025.
The accident happened at around 08:20 this morning near Place du Marché in Remich, when the pedestrian hit by a truck, according to initial information reported by the plice.
The victim, an 85-year-old pedestrian died at the scene of the accident.
A technical team from the police arrived on site to determine the cause of the accident; the road was closed to traffic for the duration of the rescue work.
