The Grand Ducal Police reported that they attended a house fire in Troisvierges during the evening of Tuesday 21 January 2025 in which one person was critically injured.
The fire in a house on Rue d’Asselborn in Troisvierges was reported at around 19:00.
In addition to the police, fire engines from CIS Troisvierges, CIS Wiltz, CIS Clervaux, CIS Wincrange and RTW Troisvierges were all called to the scene, as was a SAMU Air-Rescue helicopter.
When the police officers arrived, the residents had already left the house. One of the residents had been critically injured in the incident and was taken to hospital after receiving first aid on site.
The technical unit of the police has started an investigation into the cause of the fire.
